“Boys Lie”

Boys Lie.jpg

He Said He Was Different.

Don’t they all…

For once I have no backstory, no preface, no explanation. This is all emotion, so may you feel every word.

Words for you are now what used to be

Moving on I have to try and find peace

Going from what I thought was it for me

Turns out you just had my heart on lease

You fall back into fuck boy mode

When your world becomes a heavy load

You claim to be able to fight

Yet that punch has no might

I gave you all of me and more

Still you tossed my love to the floor

Go party away the feelings you had

It numbs the pain but still leaves you sad

You played my love language for a game

Just wait until you can’t escape my name

For when they ask if it’s about you

I’ll smile and just say who?
