“Falling”

Forever Love’s Biggest Fan

I have been asked multiple times why do I still love so fiercely after all I have been through. How have I not been harden by the pain of it? To me love is the greatest gift a person can experience and there is nothing quite like it. I will always believe in its power and its hope.

I wrote this the day Kobe Bryant died with his daughter Gianna. I was overcome with the love he had for his daughter, the life he gave to a game he loved, and the legacy he will forever leave behind. Love is so powerful and beautiful. It is truly the greatest of gifts we get to experience in life. I believe one of the best blessings I have be given is to share that love. Unashamedly, a bit audaciously and without remorse. Some of the people I have met in my life undoubtedly needed to know what it was like to be loved just because of who they were, just as they were. When we love without expectation or without fear, we have the ability to unite, to remove walls and experience a joy that makes life a little bit better.

Love is peculiar, a mystery filled with desire

Like a small flame that grows into a fire

No one can say when they are about to fall

But when you do you almost feel unstoppable

It’s like you are truly living for the first time

Another person who loves to call you mine

There’s a charge of energy when they are near

It’s contagious, joyous and without fear

This feeling of love is a basic human need

And when you accept it your heart is freed

No one can say when they are about to fall

But when you do you most definitely have it all
