“Snowflake”
Some fall and melt away
While others land and stay for days
The imprint, however, is still the same
The soft, refreshing presence that remains
Unique, you are one of a kind
But amongst the pack you are hard to find
You sustain what’s buried below
Give life to others and allow them to grow
Your jagged edges appear sharp
But melt for those who have touched your heart
The magic you carry
Covers the land leaving us both weary and merry
Snowflake, you are you
Filled with awe and wonder
Intricately designed, leaving us to ponder-
How ever do we catch and keep you for our own
While you choose to travel the land alone
